Vicky Hanlon

Founder, Producer

Vicky is a comedy producer, radio presenter, podcaster and graphic designer. She is the co-host of the iTunes Top 50 podcast “Vic & Em’s Comedy Gems” and formally co-hosted the AFL podcast “The Corporate Box” where she interviewed, among others, former Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

In 2018, Vicky joined the ranks of community radio station 3RRR, with the late night comedy show ‘Triple Ha’, with Comedy Gems co-host Emily Tresidder. Vicky has also produced multiple radio shows on JOY 94.9 and has appeared on ABC Radio Melbourne with Jon Faine, JOY 94.9’s “Laugh Out Proud” and SYN Radio’s “In Joke”.

In 2015 she began running Rookie Nights Open Mic at The Imperial, and has since run several successful weekly line-up shows including Tuesday Night Comedy at The Imperial, Quick Bites Comedy at Boney, Friday Night Bites and Sunday Comedy at The Toff in Town.

Vicky has also been responsible for some of Melbourne’s more diverse and inventive comedy nights, including Lemon Comedy (a monthly comedy showcase dedicated to promoting diversity in comedy with shows in both Melbourne and London) and Test Lab Comedy (a monthly night where established stand-ups workshop new material in front of an audience).
